Yellow-Crowned (Yellow-Fronted) Kakariki Parrots for Sale – 10 Weeks Old
Hello! I’m selling some beautiful Yellow-crowned Kakariki parrots, also known as Yellow-fronted Kakarikis. These little birds are from my 2025 breeding season and are around 10 weeks old now.
They have super bright, full colours and are very healthy. They’ve been parent-reared, so they’re still babies but already well looked after. Because they’re young, they can be tamed easily with a bit of time and patience.
About Yellow-crowned Kakarikis:
These parrots are lively and very playful. They can learn to mimic sounds and words, though they’re not the best talkers compared to some other parrots. Still, they’re brilliant pets for anyone who enjoys a clever and active bird.
Care & Diet:
Kakarikis enjoy a diet of seeds, pellets, fresh fruits, and vegetables. They especially love leafy greens and crunchy veggies like carrots. Fresh water should always be available.
Lifespan:
With good care, these parrots can live 15 to 20 years, so they’re a long-term companion.
